I'm very pleased to announce that two publications outlining a deep-sea research strategy for studying deep-sea life under the UN's "Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development" program have been published! The work includes a review paper published in Nature Ecology & Evolution, and a longer discussion publishing in Frontiers of Marine Science describing a proposed research strategy that will allow a quantitative, scalable, and globally-inclusive approach to future deep-sea research.
